Why do I enjoy baking so much? Well firstly, it gives me the opportunity to lick the spoon/bowl/whisk and there is nothing better than raw cake or cookie mixture is there? Secondly,  I love trying new recipes to see how they will turn out. I am on an eternal quest for the simplest but tastiest recipes. If I see a recipe that has lots of ingredients I tend to dismiss it out of hand. The fewer ingredients the better. I am slowly building up my arsenal of easy, straight forward recipes that also taste amazing. Maybe I'll share a few of them here sometime...
